Asking for a lineup

Hi everyone,

I specifically visit HE only places but am contemplating visiting FS places. I see a lot of reviews here where mongers ask for a lineup. Do you just ask this question to mamasan and how do you know if they have a lineup beforehand? Also, is it ok to leave if the lineup doesn’t look good? My assumptions are based on what I’ve seen in movies.

most places require you to book in advance.
usually cant ask for a line up because they are all busy - best to go during slow hours
best time to ask for a lineup is during slow hrs and after a session.
If its your first time and you leave after a line up....gfl getting back in
you need to build rapport with the mamasan and not waste people's time window shopping, then the mamasans will be calling you and letting you know before new faces come in

It does not hurt to ask for a lineup. Just be respectful. Worst case is they say the “Jane” is the only lady available now. If it is a location that required screening you should probably take whoever is assigned to you if you want to come back again.

Also what you have seen in movies (thinking rush hour) these are true in Macau/Singapore/Thailand etc, where supply significantly exceed demand.
On the busier places Tokyo etc, these are unlikely. Use your judgement and dont be cheap about it.
