One of my fellows had a chronic asthma symptom and died when we all feared by covid in 2021. Couldn't see him and say good bye then. I heard the doctor took a note on cause of death with "Covid" not "Asthma". WTF...

Many many such cases, as hospitals were getting paid big $$ for covid patients they pushed to designate as much as possible on covid, that ppl fail to read all those reports after 3.5 years is beyond me

I'm a medical professional. these tests are designed to detect specific viruses and bacteria. the covid test will not even register regular corona virus, let alone an influenza virus. we have since combined tests so that we can use the same swab to detect multiple types of viruses. they still will not mistake one virus for another.

We had a choice follow the swedish model or follow the Chinese model. We chose the later.

It could have worked here. If people weren't so easily led by dishonest bureaucrats and frightened out of their wits. Sweden took a chance that opening their country was the right thing to do. It WAS. We were stupid and took a different path. Well most states did anyway. And we paid a price that I'm not sure we will ever fully recover from.

It absolutely would not have worked here, there are too many people who only care about 3 things, Me, Myself, and I. If the government asked people to do what Sweden did you'd have the same babies that were complaining about masks complaining about being asked to just be courteous. There'd be the same oppressive government talk and complaints just for being asked to do something that might save a life. As many have said, Sweden is a very homogeneous society that understands working on a problem together will benefit everyone. That's a completely foreign concept here in the US unless it involves a sport or something with a gun.
