I was in a Dover spa.. a middle aged guy walks in…says he wants to get. 60 minute massage … he then asks to use the bathroom.
Exiting the bathroom … he stands outside of his massage room and asks his would be MT…. If they go EVERYTHING ….

MT replies Swedish or deep tissue full body ..

He says no…. EVERYTHING????

She answers nicely with a no… and shows him to the exit .
WTF are you thinking asking stupid questions while standing in the hallway … not knowing who is in the other rooms ..

You would be surprised by the number of idiots that do this ,some even ask on the phone.

not surprised .....lol.... I've laid there and listened to the Q & A. I've gad a couple ladies ask me to translate some texts from customers.....crazy what some will put in writing....one of the best....a customer made the same statement over and over for about 2 weeks..... "I want to eat you"....I explained to the MT what it meant......and she was shocked....shes not that kinda girl at all..... even funnier....she thought He wanted to take her out to lunch or Dinner..LOL

another customer texted "I got $100 Quick visit ..Hit it and dip..."

This is very true. On another note, I know these places always take walk ins but would it hurt to text about 15 minutes out and ask if anybody is available rather than just showing up and interrupting another monger's session. I an not saying to make an appointment but I always text MMS and ask who is there and then say if so and so available in 30 minutes or whatever. If they are then I am on my way if not then I go else where.

I have spent time with multiple MMs. What can I say, I appreciate older woman. Anyway. I am shocked by two things.
1) The stupidity exhibited over the phone and text messages. EPM sums it up perfectly "DON'T ASK STUPID QUESTIONS"
2) The number of people who call and ask for a time but do not show up.

I do not expect the stupidity and lack of commitement to end because there are probably 1000 mongers going to a spa for every one that reads this thread.

If you are an experienced monger, you already know the tricks to reduce the likelyhood of falling into the rushed, interupted and bumped catagory.

If there's one thing I've learned as I've gotten older, is that there are way too many stupid people in this world. That goes for all facets of life. Both mind boggling and sad at the same time.

These days its rare that a MM is in a spa. Usually one of the attendants does that job unfortunately then interrupting your time. But to be on topic yes the stupidity is rampant - always has been. It''s everywhere though. I just hate that it's in the spa's! Glad they get thrown out...
