Sometimes members innocently violate a rule, and the most is the offending text gets deleted. Or, if the moderator thinks the discussion is borderline he may end the topic discussion.

There was a previous mod who was way too...let's call it trigger happy. That said, a ban is not how we want the site to operate...it never has, and it never will. We all make mistakes, and we learn from them, and move on. If a member were to make a mistake or violate a rule, yes, they will get warned. And if multiple warnings are issued and continued to be ignored, then that might lead to a suspension or a ban. With the aforementioned exceptions, that was always the case, and will continue to be so.
