Childish POs

Anybody have experiences with POs acting really childish? I've had good relationships with most POs over the years, but recently ran into a new one that immediately blocked me after I had to cancel a prebook. Is that really such a bad thing that it justifies a BL? I cancelled before 8am so they have plenty of time to fill the apt. I dunno am I in the wrong or are they being a baby?

Not right. Most orgs want to keep a client unless there are repeated problems. Likely you were the last straw of several frustrations. Hope it's not an org you'll miss too much. Encourage you to check in soon with another apology. You could be readmitted.

There's nothing to miss, this was supposed to be my first apt. Can't be the last straw when there wasn't any in the first place. Like I said, super childish behavior and bad form from this PO.

Which org - you are already BL'ed won't matter at this point. Will help others for that org.

All the people say 'just' don't cancel clearly don't have lives that get in the way. Thanks for the advice.

PO didn't give me a chance to explain, they just blocked instantly.

The PO isn't very good, but like some others have recognized it's a normal knee jerk emotional reaction, to assume first negative behavior (cancelling first time appointment). Keep in mind that the PO had to qualify you which is also a risk. Theit initial reaction is you are wishy washy about using org. Maybe they have had bad experiences with new mongers cancelling this way.
Sort of like cancelling a job interview.

As someone who has missed appointments and pissed PO's off I'm on the PO's side. What makes it worse is that it's your first pre-book and you canceled it. The only thing that PO's need to work on is is when they go on rant and start acting rude. PO's need to keep there emotions on check and keep cool and professional when things go sour with a client.

I once had to cancel, because there was an accident on the bridge and traffic was backed up for 2 hours. The POs response was "Not my problem" get here on time or be blacklisted. Then they threatened to add $100 to my next session.

I've never gone back.

I prebooked a time for next day but PO thought was for the same day. Called me once the time hit but i wasnt near my phone and missed the calls. Finally saw text and told PO it was for tomorrow. But when i came to my appt she said so you're the one who canceled on me yesterday LOL. So guess thats what PO told her but i had a great session. Guess he was trying to cover his mistake but no repercussion for me. Guess i was lucky or just had a more professional PO

this is exaxtly because that's your first appt. Never cancel your first appt.
Most orgs don’t allow Prebook to non regulars, especially for their very first visit. The obvious being new people cancel.

I guess you somehow got an exception but cancelled. It looks like you didn’t give a reason ethier and so that probably looked bad too. If I cancel, I’ll at least make some lie/story.

You could always apologize and ask to start over. It’s not like you did something bad to a girl. Assuming you didn’t get mad at them and reply something else to piss them off, or make a thread that orgs read to associate your number to your usernam— oh.

there are some weird ones for sure but most of the bad interactions I have had were due to me walking on a an obvious B&S. In order to get backt o regular appts they forced me to do one session with the one I walked on lol

That's pretty vile of them

Why did you go along with their demand, out of curiosity?

I cancelled or rescheduled a few times with a po. But thats like after maybe 10-15 timed when they know me. Therefore never had an issue. There was a time when i wanted to book a same time as another monger but he beat me to it. Po texted and asked if i wanted the original time since in their words “idiot first timer” cancelled lols

I've had an opposite experience with the old KGA PO. Car broke down on the way, and they said "no worries"
