This post says it all...Just look at Italy, Korea...the two worst of many...I find it incredible that mongers ..don't want to know..or don't care or are afraid of the truth...ask yourself one question..what makes us different from these countries that lead you to believe we are not going to have same numbers of infections or more...with no vaccine available...is the rest of the world a "hoax".

It’s all good and true but the very same thing applies to the STDs. I didn’t see anybody calling to halt all activities. Being on a high horse probably feels right but hypocrisy runs your vessel. Everyone is an adult here and needs no preaching: it won’t stop an idiot and the others can think for themselves. I am sure that mamas and girls are no dummies either. No matter what you say or do every single person will decide for himself. And act accordingly. When providers stop working altogether (and I think they will at some point) it will take care of all at once.
First of all, not all STDs are spread through the sexual act only. Secondly, if that’s a monger, he will spread it to providers and all will go multiplying. Nothing is safe in life and in this venue especially. While giving a sound advice to fellow mongers is a good thing even if it differs from what some believe in, there is such a thing as overdoing and preaching to a choir. Once again: everyone is an adult here and will do what he/she thinks is right. Free will you know. I am not asking anybody to quit neither I am calling to continue. Everybody should decide on his own. Period.

i for one have stopped, as much as i don't want to, but i would rather just not risk it. I don't need the embarrassment of testing positive for a virus that I really have no business contracting even if it doesn't kill me, it's still not worth it. How do i explain to my friends and family i got the coronavirus? How do i explain to medical personel if I get hospitalized? I don't travel or go to crowded places, it wouldn't make sense. GL to those who think this is not a big deal, i wish you luck.

Also linking the coronavirus to recession is not a realistic comparison.
A recession can be part of an economic cycle or at least partly due to poor Financial policy.
To compare that to a worldwide virus that has come to our country and can shut down entire businesses and industries where people literally do not work for extended periods of time is a completely different thing.
All of the people that are in the camp of, "I don't care if I spread this and I'm going to go bang a whore", I assume you have no elderly parents or relatives or friends.
If you contribute to the spread of this and they die you can consider it your fault because someone somewhere is going to die if you contribute to this by being irresponsible and selfish.

At this very moment no industry is completely shut down and, most likely it won’t be. It never was and never will. Otherwise it will be a chaos in our world with the civil unrest and everything in-between as a result.
And yes, apart from AIDS there are multiple STDs that are deadly even with treatment . Yes, those do exist.
And, repeating your thought over and over again will not change the minds of certain group of people. Those that share your point of view on the other hand have read it several times already or heard it or knew that or believe in the same things that you do. Give it a rest.

I can easily go a couple months without mongering. An hour of enjoyment isn't worth getting sick and potentially spreading it to my loved ones. I have elderly parents with preexisting conditions. If I get it and pass it onto them, I'm putting them at high risk. It's simply not worth it.
This is a good opportunity to look at one's self and determine if this hobby has become an addiction. If you cannot stop for a month as a pandemic is spreading around the world, perhaps you need to ask yourself why. If the NBA, NHL, PGA, XFL, etc. are able to piss away millions upon billions of dollars by halting activities, you can probably jerk off of the next month too.
