I live in Queens, but go to Chinatown in Manhattan on occasion. I've read many stories on how CT is a dump now. But I'm looking for something just average with decent looking women for a real massage and possibility of standard service. What I would call your average Flushing spa. Any suggestions? No financial district please.
Thanks!

He just means she is always busy and you may have to come back several times before she can take you.
LOL thanks. I thought it meant she isn't there or is so fugly I would walk out. If she's that busy, she's offering more than just a good massage!

Meet the spa's website looks like it caters mainly to women! Manicures, eyelash, eyebrows, facials etc. Are you sure about this?

I think the website reflects what used to happen there if anything.
Also goes by GRAND ELEGANT SPA now

Agreed. But I thought maybe I was missing out by not looking into the OG CT. What are all those Chinese women in lower Manhattan doing? They can't all be bad?
OG CT is just leftover old people. Not much new blood comes in. Most working ladies working in Chinatown are actually from Queens. They work in Chinatown to avoid family and friends in Flushing.

Most CT girls are from Brooklyn. And yes, the providers in ctown mostly all arrived in the 80's and 90's during the time when Chinatown had a lot of garment manufacturing jobs so there was a constant stream of new ambitious workers.

When manufacturing in Ctown disappeared, followed by new job opportunities available in China after china became the manufacturing capitol of the universe, the stream of new talent stopped flowing, like in 2009.

So now, most of Chinatown original talent is aging out and the shops are one-by-one closing. Even if you see a new shop the providers are just recycled in from other places. 40 years is considered young.

This is honestly the most clear and cogent explanation of the trends I, + we, have seen in the past 10+ years.
