They usually don't test for oral herpes unless you ask them to. And keep in mind I'm referring to oral not genital. Population health studies show that 50% of sex workers have dormant genital herpes too. So maybe you might want to take your public service announcements and be more vocal.

They usually don't test for any specific STD unless you ask them to. You either ask your physician for a full panel or by individual disease. So what you're saying is subjective. 50% of sex workers have dormant General herpes? How about 67% of the population in just America alone has dormant herpes. So, it's not difficult to figure out that sex workers are probably going to have it at a higher percentage because of their exposure. And my public service message has been put out as I have put a few postings about my knowledge of this girl having herpes by finding a bottle of Acyclovir her bathroom. Not sure why you have a problem or an argument with me just putting it out there.

Standard panels test HSV1 (oral) and HSV2 (genital) and will also pick up if there has been a past exposure.
