you could go to a non FS place and take care of things yourself as they are massaging your legs and all around that "special area". Or you can say "no thanks" and take care of yourself when they leave the room. That being said, I have had a few non amp providers allow me to do what I said as long as they didn't have to do anything, or the one that even said "feel free to spend some time taking care of yourself before you get dressed". Both of those places are no longer in business. But trust me, if you went to an AMP and did it yourself, they would welcome the break.

True legitimate places will not allow that either. That would open yourself up to public exposure as well as soliciting. The most you can get away with is doing it while you get dressed and they left the room.
Any AMP that is known for Rub and Tugs or more will let you do that. Keep in mind though that you are going to have to tip them their standard HE. If you try to do $10-$20 legit massage place tipping range, they press you for more because you basically wasted their time when they could have made 2-3 times more with someone else. You also run the risk of insulting them and looking bad to management.

correct. An AMP will want the full tip and you should give it to them as it is based on their time. As for a legit place, the main commercial ones (ie Elements and Massage Envy) will never allow it, ever, though you may be able to rub one out before you get dressed after the leave the room. The independent shops (non chains) or a legit single therapist place may allow you to do so. There used to be this place nearby that was an independent shop that had a therapist there I saw about twice a month. We got comfortable with each other and she allowed no draping, even with a towel (so just like an amp).
