So you caved in anyway. Got to be strong and stand up against this BULLSHIT or else they will keep doing it to you.
When I strike out at a spa I stop by the local Home Depot or a nice high end outdoor store and buy myself a new tool or piece of outdoor equipment. Last a lot longer and makes me feel better that I wasn't pushed around and treated like a punk by the spa.

I've been in situations like this in the past but I simply visited another place nearby. However, as more and more places are shut down, the alternative choices become slimmer. I would probably just go to an R&T for a great massage and save some $.

This does suck, but let me break down what happens on the other side. Let's say you have an appointment at 2:00 but you're not a regular customer. (Regular is defined as you go to the spa at least once a week). Another guy walks in around 1:20 and the girl that you booked is free. He just happens to take your girl. Now the spa's dilemma is should I let the girl sit idle for 40 minutes or do I take the money at hand. Of course, the spa takes the money at hand. If you are not a regular customer, the spa does not know if you are going to even show up. If I'm running late or if I can't make it, I will text the spa and let them know. Most guys won't do that so the spa and the girl looses money for that hour. Parlay that a few times on a busy Saturday, and it could mean a couple hundred dollars for the business. Business is business.

This spa though unlike others, does try to make accommodations. It happened to me once here when I was not a regular and I let them know my displeasure. I did get the house fee waived and then had it waived a subsequent time with a new girl. Albeit that was a while ago and things may have change.

My suggestion, voice your displeasure to the MMS and call the handler. Tell them that you want the house fee waived for having to wait more than 30 minutes. If they don't do that, take your business elsewhere.
