CHEEKS!!!!!
Not enough exclamation points .
The sheer quantity of dancers, 10 to like 20 or 25 some nights.
Quality of dancers.....an occasional 6 (rating) but chock full of 8s and a slew of 9s and yes, the occasional 10s
The fun to be had.....where to begin? My god, where did it end?
What an awesome feeling walking in there! They'd lightly pat u down (weekends) and u take a seat. Plenty of seating options. Your eyeballs would be assaulted with all kinds of eye candy. The beauty of it was 90 to 95 % of them were there to happily ( seemed to me) go to the private dance areas if asked.
Frankly....it seemed the entire place and it's business was designed around the LD experience, ie; as opposed to a shaker bar that also HAPPENED TO offer LDs. Amazing.
LDs.......So....yeah you walk over with your chosen dancer to sit in an area with like 10 chairs. Each chair surrounded closely by thin black curtains pinched together by clips u might use to cinch down the top of a potato chip bag. You paid per song played thru the bar. I think it was $20 per. The actual LD experience for u once at this point, and any possible further compensation (yes? No?....you both decided) was up to u and your dancer.
Often the LD area was so crowded (weekends definitely) you would be lined up to get in 10 guys deep. Thankfully the line moved pretty fast. One girl told me she counted on making $2000 in 8 hours, if she felt like it. She tried to work 5 days a week. The least she showed up, if feeling lazy, was 3 .
I saw her in action many times, I hung out for 3 hours in that place alot, and tell u what, no way she was lying. The other girls seemed to be kicking that kinda ass as well.
I was present the very last week it was opened. It was well known what they're last day was. The owners were hawking their new place to open a month or so later.
I had tears in my eyes .
Postcript; that new place didn't compare.
