Read the room. Many members (actually nine members, including myself) took issues with your original statement, which had extremely poor timing and can easily be construed as insensitive.
No one is disputing that providers should respect the time of customers, but that's a whole separate issue, and that topic is NOT the time nor place to mention it, especially given what transpired.
Take a hint when it's being offered by various members...no one here is out to "get you", but if you're in the wrong, they'll let you know. Instead of trying to argue with every single one of them, how about you acknowledge, apologize, clarify, and move on?
