Favorite cities to hobby in?

I've made a similar thread asking about which foreign country is everyone's favorite to monger in, so I thought it would be a good idea to see everyone's favorite city to monger in. Some of the cities I keep hearing about are rio de janeiro, pattaya, berlin, amsterdam, and madrid. Anyone who has been to these cities which one is your favorite and if there's a city out there that's better which one is it?

I like Philly so much I signed a lease for an apartment. I guess it's my favorite mongering spot!

My friends swear by Jaco Beach Costa Rica. They make that trip twice a year.

have been to Guanajuato many times, not for hobbying. If you can overlap with the Cervantes Festival, it is a world class event with theatre / plays from all over the world. Fabulous experience.
