FEELD and Polyamory Girls

I've been meeting increasing numbers of poly girls over the last 5 years or so. Since covid it's really accelerated...several of my friends' girlfriends were or are poly, I've met friends in the "party" circuit that are poly, and recently I've been meeting some very upscale young professional women who are poly...I'm amazed at how normalized it's become. These are lawyers, investment bankers, and tech executive types. Almost to the point that it seems for the 20s-30s crowd, you're square if you haven't tried it yet.

I just picked up a few 20s girls at a downtown bar last week and they all met through FEELD and are both friends AND lovers, i.e. they're all bisexual. They introduce each other to other poly people to date and were showing me some of their FEELD profiles and it kind of blew my mind. These aren't the old, fat 70s swingers caricature I remember as a kid.

So my question is...are you guys meeting a lot of people in your personal life that are poly? Have you guys picked up non-ho girls on FEELD? Is it a sexual free for all these days or how can I get more involved in this scene? I'm planning on having some dates with these girls I met, but curious to get some intel before I make myself look like a totally dated square old man.

Your assessment is on-point, attitudes on open relationships have been shifting, with younger cohorts more amenable to the idea.

I also have friends who have been exploring consensual non-monogamy and have had some debates with them about its benefits, drawbacks, and pitfalls - but these are all mostly 30-somethings and married couples who are not necessarily polyamorous by nature, but more or less, using it as a last ditch effort to save their marriage and/ or setting up the conditions for a soft landing divorce, in the few cases I’ve seen in my social network, a more dominant partner is pushing for the lifestyle and the more submissive partner concedes to their suggestions, but ultimately cannot overcome bouts of jealously, and/ or the effort/ time burden that is associated with “ethically” managing multiple romantic relationships simultaneously - there’s also a haughtiness to it all, which makes for a somewhat nauseating experience when dealing with certain types who have embraced the lifestyle.

Maybe I'm delusional and fantasizing, but I am now wondering if a few couples I've met at parties or through friends are poly...something that wouldn't have even crossed my mind a few years ago. These are successful, happy, attractive, fit couples with women in their 30s or early 40s and they're unusually friendly to me and the husbands are very welcoming as well.

I haven't socialized with too many couples I've recently met, so not sure if this is normal social niceties and I'm just delusional and on the verge of blowing myself up within my social circle if I try to move on the wives...or if this is how poly couples scout new recruits for orgies. I've been extremely disciplined in keeping my distance bc I know if the wives nubile breasts rubbed up against my arm or if I felt their breath near my mouth....I'm possibly gonna make a mistake I'll be paying a very heavy price for. I'll just have to figure out a way to weave the topic of polyamory into the conversation next time and see how they react.

It is not a "free for all". Just because someone is poly doesn't mean they are easy. If anything, they have higher standards. Tinder is still best bet for easy no-frills lays, even if there are so many bots, but Feeld is a similar shitshow these days so it doesn't matter really

I like Tinder internationally but in NY it's a disaster. I've had much better luck with Hinge and Bumble. I'll try to get the low down about Feeld from the girls I met and see how they like it. I'm fascinated by this polyamory development.

As people delay marriage until they are more settled in their careers, poly relationships make a lot of sense. You get to have companionship and fun while still staying in the market. In my experience, when these 20-somethings move into their 30's they start looking for monogamous relationships again. Most will end up married and in suburbs reminiscing about their wild poly/bi days.

I've used the app and I've been able to screen for women, etc. and there are a TON of attractive women on there, along with the usual riff raff...but I've personally had no luck meeting anybody from the app, tho that might be my half assed profile without a pic.

The very hot girls I've met who were on Feeld seemed to love the app, but that's from their position of being hot young girls who get to pick and choose who they want. It's not clear to me how difficult it is for a guy to meet these girls given the overwhelming odds. I guess I'll find out now.

A friend just told me about a Feeld sponsored party last night in NYC and said there were some great looking, high quality, young girls in the mix. I'm so frustrated that I found out about it after the fact...but apparently there's smaller parties that happen here and there, so maybe I can figure out a way to weasel my way into those.

Tinder is great for Korea. It’s as easy as going to Hmart and buying a jar of Kimchi. lol

What was the male to female ratio for the Feeld sponsored party?

I went to one event last year. It was hosted in a hotel. Asians-only event. The male to female ratio was 6:4. Most of the men were annoying and cocky attorneys. And most of the females were those who worked at a bank and real estate agents.

I wasn't there so can't say for sure, but he said it was a worthwhile event. He just focused on the hot girls and said they were pretty friendly, even when they weren't interested.

What was this other event...was it a polyamory event or a regular dating / mixer event? I don't mind cocky guys, I'll just ignore them and chat up the girls.

It was a private socializing/dating event for single Asians in NYC.

Identifying as poly --without being asked-- is cringey to me, even if you're a young attractive girl. I'm always wary of people being smug behind the shield of a label.

Dudes doing dudes existed 2000 years ago, but there weren't any "poly" girls back then. I've been with so-called lesbians and they don't relinquish their gay card despite their encounter with my 3.25" diamond cutter.

Everything popular is a smokescreen.

I haven't met anybody who's loudly identifying as poly...these girls I met were just sitting around minding their business when I chatted them up and asked how they knew each other. I'm still learning my way around this thing, but it seems like the big difference with this new generation of poly is that they are open and honest about their desire to bang other people, so there's no sneaking around or shame about it.

They're just sexually liberated and curious to experiment with whatever feels good to them and doing it without any shame or restriction....I kind of respect that. In some ways, guys on this forum are doing the same thing...just wanting to bang and doing so, except having to do surreptitiously because others in our lives and society won't accept what mongers want to do.
