Hey guys, hope you're doing well.

Gearing up for a trip to Thailand and was wondering if anyone had any pointers...

Or could point to reliable sources.

Does anyone know price range for LT? As well as how many shots?

If I answer here and tell you yes, BKK is the right place for a first timer, in 20 seconds one of the Pattaya drones will start up about how great it is to be packed in with 10000 other drunk old men mongering. The OP should say specifically what he’s interested in. I like being able to mix in other things to the trip, and I prefer to avoid hanging around near drunk farang.

BB is correct. every city has a slightly different vibe. you need to be specific about your expectations. i prefer chaing mai, in part for the last comment in BB's post. but a side trip to bkk for a few days here and there is always fun

For your first trip to Thailand try to spend up to 3 days in Bangkok, then 3 days in Pattaya and after hit one of the islands and go to Hua Hin . You can always double back to Bangkok or Pattaya after touring the country.

Just do not fall in love with the first bar girl you see and watch out for the ladyboys.

If you get to Pattaya when the Buzzin bar is having a bar crawl, that is the best way to hit maybe 5 gentleman clubs or bar in one afternoon. They have 2 bar crawls a week

There are more to see and do in Thailand than drinking and visiting the ladies

Phuket is pretty, but completely overrun at this point. I first went there 20 years ago and it was awesome.

I almost always go and spend a day or 2 in BKK and then go out somewhere. My time in BKK is for auditioning girls that I bring with me. Im not into bar scene and spending half my time looking for a girl every night. I pick 2 and then go out of BKK for a week or 2.

This last time I went to Koh Samui and stayed in a villa for a week. It was great.

I've done this to Ko Chang recently too and its much more remote but beautiful.

Up north I wouldn't recommend Nong Khao (not pretty). But I highly recommend Chiang Mai.

It largely depends on what extras you're looking for. The girls are the easy part. I like beaches, temples, and good food.
