I assume you're talking about the independent section.
But there could be many different reasons. A girl could be visiting, trying out new ad/number, didn't get any business so stopped running the ad, didn't like doing independent work, ad is too expensive and not worth it, etc.
There's not one reason that fits all, because every girl has their own reasons...

I know some girls that use this website (besides the ads that I answer). I told them they should add, "foreigners welcome", to get more business. But they usually don't want to because language barrier and safety.
I told them most guys don't give a damn if they speak English or not. But as far as safety, some of these girls do get robbed (by both "foreigners" or their Chinese brothers. But I assume it's can be stressful if the robber speaks the same language).

But I took a girl to her home, so she could change her clothes and go out to eat. Her neighbor saw me and gave her a 10-minute lecture about why she should n't see "foreigners".

Another reason is the girl is at a Fast House, which is usually only for around a week, and the FS pulls the ad when the girl leaves.
As for the "Foreigner" issue, the most common reason is going to be unpopular here. Indies that see "Foreigners", and word gets around, will lose Chinese clients. Some make up with more non-Chinese clients. Some will stop seeing any more. No easy answer either way.
