Ive used guidance on this site as far back as 15 years with good results. It takes time to train your self though, so keep that in mind.

We can all get females for free.
But depending on our own personal situation (age, looks, build, finances, personality, etc..) we would have to make concessions as to the type of females for which we would settle. Would you be OK with older, heavier, wrinkled women with high expectations and less accommodating attitudes then what you are used to with providers?
If so, you can probably get a free date / GF on match by the weekend.
Speaking for myself (in my mid 50s), I would NOT be OK with any of those things.
So yeah, I agree that having free hookups or a GF would be great, but unless she is under 30 (ideally under 25), thin and petite with a pretty face and great attitude...I'll be sticking with providers.

You memorize a bunch of routines but don't internalize the reasons behind them.
No doubt that, with practice, it might be good for getting laid, but it might also result in self-esteem issues or an identity crisis down the line.
Most of the OG PUA crew have huge issues later (See Roosh for a quintessential example who, went straight up alt-right nutjob born-again Christian.)
Neil Strauss, aka the author of the Game, failed to revert to "normal" after he went through his PUA research phase, and recently divorced his dream wife.
Anyway, that said, if you want success with women, at the very least, you need to have good inner game.
It has to be internalized - as in, basically you can do it naturally without conscious thought.
Self-confidence, banter, flirting, and the ability to connect emotionally. Most of these can at least be somewhat non-verbal.
That's basically what the PUA routines are trying to get you to behave like, but without the inner work.
Incidentally, the same skills can occasionally get you way better sessions...

truth right here. learning "routines" is for people who aren't empathetic and charismatic; you can fake your way to sleeping with people and with enough money and success it won't matter that you never have developed empathy and charisma, (trump cough) but if you're looking for more than just getting laid you gotta work on yoruself first.
This really depends how old you are. How old your friends are. Among other factors. If you are under 28 find easily and fuck college girls. Go to college bars. If you are over 28, try bars ,clubs.
Once you get good you can try anywhere on a walk, in the supermarket at a book store etc.
Confidence is one of the most important traits. Humor and wit along with a good personality. Of course healthy well taken care of body helps as well as a decent to well put together wardrobe.
