Has anyone ever helped a girl land a job after an AMP career because she wanted to stay in the US but didn't want to offer FS massages the rest of her life? I was thinking UBER driver, Casino Dealer, helping pay for a Cosmetology certification, but I don't know if there are working visa restrictions that limit their options. Thanks.

It all depends at the opening gate of the providers. Some are fortunate to get out of massage business and make changes in their lives. Some are not fortunate.

The job a large number, if not the majority of your lady friends pursue as a way out is the role of Mrs. of a old, rich, pre-nuptial averse guy with an asian fetish.

Most don't have the independence of mind to get out. They just want to rely on other Chinese to do the thinking for them.

That's why they stay indebted to each other and have to keep going around spa hopping chasing the eternal naive rich old fat lonely White man to bail them out. And even when they get that they are still not satisfied.

Many were not raised with proper values or strong cultural identity or roots. All they think about is the Yuan and not traditional confucian principles (only when convenient for them).

Many say they have Dreams of being a housewife and being married and owning a flower shop for fun. Remember a lot of these Women are ignorant farm daughters living in big cities blinded by the lights. They can't see you or me they can only just stand mesmerized until they get plowed through by the MAC truck that is real life.

The girls that have a plan beyond the fs spa world are not unicorns but they are rare.

A few have escaped with their own independence and financial security.

A few I know are using this phase of their working life to amass enought money to buy a legitimate.business.

Some eventually just manage a spa for someone else. And I have seen a few successful real marriages, and also work some type of business.

But all together this is probably less than 12 that I know.

Most give up prematurely and just go back to whatever they were doing in their home country. Succeeding in a foreign country is not easy and not for the faint of heart. I know from first hand experience.

It all depends on their goals, their lifestyle and their mindset.

A lot of girls already in this business see a huge money potential. And while they might initially have a goal to stop after x amount of years, it could be greed or bad spending habits that will force them to continue on and feed their spending desires.

I honestly know only 2 girls that legit quit the business and i know this because ironically i'm friends with them on social media. One girl opened up her own business (no not a spa or anything related to spa) and the other girl became a vet because she loved animals. Both are doing good and whenever i see them, we made an oath to never talk about the past or anything related to the past life.

Some girls have a lot of debt to pay. Whether their own or their family, so most are forced to work to pay off the debt. Some girls are materialistic and like spending money on gucci and louie bags at 2k a pop so when they go on a 10k shopping spree during their week off, they're back to square one almost when they return to work and have to work their ass off (sometimes literally lol) to get their savings back up to par.

In the end, a girl would have to have true discipline in order to really quit after x amount of years. Some places in NYC the girls can make serious coin. And by coin i mean i have seen pics of a couple of girls showing off their racks on racks on racks on racks.

Yes,....she was a popular spa girl, worked an average of 3 or 4 days a week and did very well,....but like anything, there are variables and dependent on where one resides.

One example might include,... whether or not they have a valid drivers license, insurance and own/lease a car. Unless living in some mainstream city offerimg mass transit, I've found it imperative. Surprisingly, most don't drive.

The lady I'm referring to drives,... has been working at an assisted living facility for nearly two years, event planning and scheduling, makes about $800 per/week with paid benefits, shit health insurance coverage but nonetheless, insurance,... works part-time at a Whole Foods as well and trust me, doesn't have the best command of the language but manages. She hasn't received her green card yet, renews her work permit every two years.

Speaking of green cards, if working at a legit casino, at the very least, one is required for bonding/insurance purposes.

Ladies I know which have gone the Cosmo route, have gotten caught up in Asian scams, most have gotten ripped, up to $2,500.00,... the learning centers, the exams, not even real or accredited. Even if they did get a certificate from someplace, they work for little or no hourly income, mostly predicated on tips which are meager at best with 10 to 12 hour work days, at times, no off days.

Perhaps the best thing I did for her, besides simply helping, encouraging her, was introducing her to the local Chinese community via, a Chinese Church,....she's made some very good, traditional friends which have succeeded as well, many choose to remain single, yet productive, successful in fending for themselves. These are the exceptions, not the rule.

Thanks to you and all for sharing. A follow-up session with my girl revealed she isn't as fed up with the AMP grind as I thought. She knows all too well the money differential is too great. She's more tired from working 6 days a week and no vacation for over 4 years. I've offered to take her on vacation to unwind and she basically accepted this past visit. I've given her flowers, food, public transportation passes and gift cards in the past so I was a little surprised that she's finally warmed up to me after 2 years of constant service. We hope to hit maybe Florida during the winter. I've fortunately built up enough Marriott points from work to get a great deal. I'm not looking to get hitched and I don't think she is either. I hope to enjoy each other's company, get laid in a more GFE, and become friends with future benefits. She basically came to the US on a 6 month vacation visa and didn't go back. She then managed to land a working visa, has a SSN and pays taxes. The only problem is she can't go home to see her father or teenage daughter in China unless it's for good. I mentioned nail salon job and she said they only make $3-4k a month which tells me she's well north of that. I'm just living one day at a time, and Im just thankful she's in it, for now.

ok,...I'm confused but sobeit. You're welcome.

Careful on the travel, it's not only China, if she leaves the U.S., she's toast,....Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rica and on, and on, even a Nova Scotia cruise to nowhere.

...and as far as the nail salon numbers go, let me know where, I'll work it for $40/$50K annually off the books, if it's not, why in the world would someone claim tips. Currently, she's going to remain a spa person, has been a spa person, again,.... works for tips, seemingly since she's been here......what is she paying taxes on?

Like I said, sobeit.

You sound like a nice guy, i wish you well. But......it sounds like she has you right where you want to be, in a state of hope, giving you just enough hope to keep you going, just enough to be in a state of never enough. But more is just around the corner.

To a certain extent I know she looks at me thru $$-colored glasses. I frequent other spas so until I find a new #1 ATF, I'll keep my rose-colored bifocals on. lol.

The problem is that the $$ is too easy here. They find it hard going back to a real job where they work long hours for shit wages. I have know one who "escaped" by buying a spa. So now she is the boss at least. A lot of them talk about working for X number of years and going home to retire. And maybe it does happen? Can't say for sure what happens to the ones I lose track of.

As for marriage, a dirty little secret is that a lot of them ARE still married. Their husbands know what they are doing, but don't ask too many questions (I guess). Or maybe they are okay with their wives being whores as long as they bring in the bacon. Sad.

Hey VJ:

I understand what you've expressed but in the context of the initial post:
(>:Has anyone ever helped a girl land a job after an AMP career because she wanted to stay in the US but didn't want to offer FS massages the rest of her life?:<)

This is a very different challenge. It suggests the lady, or as I had originally thought, has/had made up her mind to try to change. Overstating the obvious, the stigma has been beaten to death and nothing to do with the original query. In the event one actually did want to change, was prepared to make the commitment to change, the challenge is long and arduous. The other issue is if they remain doing the deed, when their means from employment terminated, busted, which is not a matter of if, but when, the "what happens" is as diverse as episodes from The Twilight Zone. An example might be: trying to stay or make application while having been convicted of a crime, depending on the type of crime, the nature of the crime. Those in the mix make a party of tax evasion, money laundering, imprisonment which when the get written up, are very often the case,.....very different then, "she offered a handy",...and that's only if the INS wasn't called in. Yeah, the money is too easy, right until the door caves in,....the only money required at that point is a one way ticket back to Palookaville.

I realize now, this was not the case but if it was:
Spend some time on the Homeland Security websites, look up immigration forms, criteria as it pertains to status such as #325, #130A, #485 and on, and on.....
The point being, just cause one decides the want to make the change, doesn't mean anything, they have to be deemed "worthy" and to your point,.....if they are still married, have children or God knows what else,......let the break dancing begin.

So yes, I get your point and thanks,.....but I originally, I thought someone was actually seeking some advise.
