Great Replacement

At least here in Philly this site is becoming a good replacement for the former SH site. Nice to see some reviews and just make casual conversation too.

Jimmy needsa to model this more to the "former" site. Reviews should be grouped to spas instaed of all over the place. Too hard to follow. The review procces with no orginization isnt good.

Just found this site yesterday..very cool.
Although I was only on SH for maybe a year,it s sorely missed, but A.R.could be a great replacement.Just get some of the bugs worked out.

I don't think Jimmy or whoever developed this site is taking suggestions. I've made a number of them and no replies, no changes etc. I've seen a number of other people make suggestions as well that fell on deaf ears. I think we'll just have to make the best of it for now and see if a better mouse trap comes along.

I am sure the whole thing can't be totally revamped at this point. Nothing will ever compare to SH but this can be tweaked a little.

This is like a gift horse compared to where we were. Saddle up and let's see where the ride goes.

Don't lose sight that when Top Jimmy's Mom passed away recently it threw him for a loop and he was out if commission for a little while. I assume he still is a little.

Out of commission only in the sense he had more pressing issues. He never totally left, just not enough time is my take.

that explains a lot. It's never easy and even worse if you are the one left in charge of the estate. Dont know if his pop is still alive or in the picture but add that to the soup makes for a real heartburn recipe!

I had a nice lunch with a fellow monger yesterday who really does not like the organization of this site as compared to the old Spa Hunters. I had to agree with him, so this morning I looked around at the site options here a little more.

I found in the pull down list when you hit the 3 bar box next to your avatar there is a "search forums" option.

All you have to do is put a provider's or spa's name in and all the posts that have that name comes up. That way they are easier to search. Only issue is the names could be duplicated in other regions, you just have to sift through yourself.

This does help oganize the info a little better. Try it you may like it.
