Guys Trip to Cartagena

Fellow mongers,

it would be greatly appreciated if you would share any stories, tips, things to be aware of, if you have taken a trip to Cartagena. Mongering from what I understand but if you have any spots you recommend, what services to expect (PSE, GFE, Greek, CIM, COF) I would be very interested Planning on taking a 4 day trip. Any intel?

Cartagena is extremely hot and humid and twice as expensive as Bogota or Medellin but The Centro is incredibly beautiful, the best preserved colonial architecture I've seen in Latin America. I can't advise you about places but I can say that the main plaza absolutely fills up with pros starting around sundown. I didn't partake so I don't know the prices but there were a lot of good-looking women, many from Venezuela. In Bogota and Medellin, the prices I paid was about $120 for an hour with goddesses. I'd expect it to be more expensive in Cartagena.

I think you can go to La Dolce Vita or the discos in Bocagrande and the Old City, but I'm not sure you need to. If you're wandering around the Old City touristy areas before or after dinner, I think you'll see pro's/semi-pro's, who tend to be on the younger side, out and about. Not hard to spot. Some may even come up to you unprompted. Also, possibly at the beach, depending on location.. And taxi drivers or some locals may be more than happy to help you find what you're looking for. I did not partake and don't have specific info..

I went about 15 years ago for a bachelor party. Hookers everywhere. Any bar you walk into you will be approached by women and not cus they think you’re attractive. Didn’t partake in any FS but we tried to get strippers for the house we rented. When ever a girl would get there they’d be so confused that we just wanted them to dance and not bang, fun time and good for I recall. Jaco, Costa Rica is a great bachelor party destination I would highly recommend.

I agree with @heynow that Bogotá will be cheaper and they are hot women. I've heard same for medellin and Cali. Of course Cartagena being touristic and direct fly from jfk, you'll be there by noon and ready to play by 2pm. The main plaza in the old city at sundown streetwalkers everywhere but not the nasty one like there used to be by the Queensborough bridge years ago. Good looking gals and young. Also look in the internet for escort services. They call it PREPAGOS. A lot of agencies or indies specially in the north part of Cartagena (15 minute taxi ride). Just be careful, because even the the people that were selling crafts at the beach wanted to sell me cocaine or chicas.

2. Get an AirBnB with a nighttime security guard to check ID's.
3. Best Clubs for working girls: Delirium and Dolce Vita (Hit them up and IG to set up table service)
4. Towards the end of your trip, set up a boat trip to Cholon, Invite some girls with you.
5. 80% of the girls are not Colombian they are from Venezuela. Still pretty, but not Medellin or Bogota pretty.
6. Youtube has plenty of videos.
7. No PSE, everything is covered.
8. From what I remember, it was $125 for short/ $180 for long.
9. Plenty of good money exchanges in town, no need to do it ahead of time.

Thanks I’ll keep this in mind. Haven’t decided where I’m going yet. But down to three, Thailand, Mexico, and Colombia. Just collecting information on which place is more bang for my buck until I decide.

More bang for your buck would be Colombia in mY opinion . Second it’s safe as long as you stay in a good place like everywhere else . 3 the nature is awesome that along with my tour guide you will be happy . Let me know . I once paid 5 bucks for a girl trust me you will go back every time . 8 hrs most to get there with connecting flights happy mongering

most of the people on this thread don’t know what they are talking about. I spent all day partying and picking up in delirium, gustos, and space nightclub.

Here is a convo I had with a Cartagena girl on IG in summer of 2021.

To be fully transparent, in Columbia I go unicorn hunting, only 9’s and above.

But if $50 is your budget, there are plenty of 4’s that will take it, but what’s the point?

9s in the nightclubs mentioned here are not easy to scout. I would say the population distribution at Space is:

8s and higher: 5%
7s: 15%
6s: 20%
5s and lower: 60%

Not perfect, is is to give you the idea. Not an easy job. Rates in the prev post are correct. Bring USD to avoid extra charges converting from COP or pulling cash from the local ATMs.

It’s interesting how in counties like Colombia, the prices varies drastically. In bogota I pay 60-80 tops per hour. You can go to Santa Fe strip Clive where a lot of these girls work at and get them for $30. In Medellin I paid the same. 60-80. At the strip club in the hills I paid $80 to take whichever one I wanted upstairs. Bogota is definitely where it’s at

I pay in Colombian pesos so when they try that dollar with me it don’t fly you say baby sorry I have Colombian pesos . And for a 10 I would pay 300,000 pesos for an overnight I would pay 1 million Colombian pesos the exchange rate is @ the money 1usd = 4,700 COP . So do the math . They have drop dead gorgeous Venezuelan women in Colombia that would gladly take 50,000 COP . So when they see a tourist they try and take dollars but say you got COP

I found Medellin to be much cheaper than Cartagena, although the women in Cartagena were much more hotter. I went with a group of buddies, all had a good time except for maybe two, only because they weren't native Spanish speakers, so they needed me or another friend to translate for practically everything. If you don't already know it, I'd suggest brushing up on the language, otherwise you'll be left to using a translator app.

Also download things like tinder or bumble, you'll find some good providers on there as well.
