Unfortunately, my plans got derailed this morning when I started to drive away and realized that my rear window had shattered from the cold. My big birthday cake surprise got totally messed up. So, the best I could do is sing her an off key "Happy Birthday" on the phone and tell her about my intentions. I will get my car back tomorrow but the cake surprise is a moot point now.

She says that no one at the nursing home knows it is her birthday but I hope they keep track of things like that and surprise her later. This will be her first birthday there since last year at this time she was in the hospital.

For me, she is my Korean sister. Again thanks to everyone for thinking about her today.

Wayne, sorry to hear about your car issue. Thank you for passing along all of our wishes to her. In all my years at this, I have never met anyone else that comes close to Sue. She is genuine and truly a fine, lovely young lady for those who had the special privilege to interact with, can never forget that. I look forward to the day that I can share my feelings with her face to face again. As always I extend all my best wishes to her.

Even after some time has passed, Sue is still the lady by which we measure the others. Amazing woman. Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Sue. Feb 4th. I recall your 1 year younger than me. I know I must have a copy of your ID somewhere. So many friends still are thinking and playing for you my friend. The great memories going back to the late 90's
I never forget.

Happy Birthday Sue. I knew you long enough to learn what a great woman and lover you were but I do regret not seeing you earlier and continuing to see you thru all of the spas you graced with your presence. Wondering if any of you have old photos you can post of hers.
