I'm thinking of starting my own strict mongering diet and restricting it to quarterly visits.

I get paid bi-weekly and if I stash $25 per pay check away, I can do a $200 FS session four times a year or two $100 HE Sessions in a quarter.

That way I can manage my money and keep my hobby in check (I'm married and got a kid coming)

Just curious. How often do you guys go out, especially you married with kids fellas?

It might sound ridiculous but I see it as two separate things. When I have sex with my wife, it's intimate and loving with lots of cuddling afterwards.

But I crave the animal instinct "whore" sex if you will. I see my wife as a wife and mother. I see working girls as something to unload all my inhibitions on with no strings attached.

Also, my wife is Japanese (we met in Japan) and her attitude towards prostitution is different from American women. Her rules are, if I pay for it, it's business. If I go to a bar and hook up, that's cheating.

But yeah, I get your point about it being addicting. That's why I want to hold myself to a strict diet lol.

The question is, do you have the self discipline or are you busy enough in other ways to hold to the diet. I have to be careful because I am retired and still paying a mortgage along with many other bills. I still managed to spend 1.5k so far this year. Three outings last month alone. Even a Japanese wife might get upset if you're doing too much "business".

You're absolutely right. It'll be tough but keeping myself to a schedule will also give me something to look forward to and get excited about.

I think I can do it!

I like it! I wish all women had such nice rational thinking!!
Now I am further guilt free as I am also viewing it as strictly business.

From what I gathered when I lived in Japan for 18 months is that seems to be the norm there.

I remember watching a House Hunters type show over there and there was this young couple looking for a new place. The husband and wife were talking and suddenly the host started laughing hysterically and so did my wife who was watching it with me. I asked my wife, "what's going on?" since I don't speak Japanese.

She said the husband was asking his wife if he could use a little more money to buy girls more often and she told him once a month is enough.

I almost shit myself! That would NEVER fly here in America.

I also had married woman as students (I was an English teacher) who conplained about their husbands spending too much at hostess clubs (basically really expensive joints where you get a girl, buy an overpriced bottle of liquor that you both drink, flirt, then go to a love hotel).

Again, that would never happen here with our puritanical culture.

If you got sex at home, would you still go? I ask because I can still enjoy sex with my wife but I get the urge for an AMP at least once a month.

AMPs are super addictive hobby, if your first kid on the way, stay away. You never know where expenses are coming from. No wife would like that.

I don't disagree with you. But I love saving money more than anything else, even AMPs. I'm the type who keeps an excel spreadsheet of my balance and I must increase that balance by a $1,000 each month.

I don't doubt that a week after hitting an AMP that I'm gonna have an urge to go again, I'll just have to maintain some self control.

If I could keep it to twice a month I would happy. I’ve tried a budget and all kinds of things to try and cut back. No such luck. I’ve even tried going to legit only spas in hopes of reducing the spend and that only works for a while.

I’m with you on saving money. But, sometimes AMPs win out. What I’ll do sometimes to keep from going, is transfer the amount, usually $160, from checking into a high yield savings account. Wish I had more self control and could do this more often.

I try to limit my spend to less than $1000 month. March was a good month, I only spent $380. Last month I went over and spent $1060, but at least I came close. This month, not so good, already. Saw 2 on Sunday and one yesterday. However, I resisted seeing a favorite on Saturday. I wanted to make it at least past day one of the month without a spend.

You need to be careful. Once that kid is born, you have responsibilities. I am single, no kids, never married, mid 40s. However, I go when I can go.

This hobby is addictive. If you are married you are balancing your energy to satisfy your wife's needs and your mongering urges. I would say there are natural spaces that come up that are good times for mongering like when she comes down with a cold or has some other issue where you will not be under pressure for performing the act with her. When you get older it seems you just have to plan and space your visits to have your energy and focus managed well.
