How to hide/ unhide WeChat on iPhone

Guys,
Sometimes we don't want anyone to see the WeChat App on our iPhones....So...here's a simple way to temporarily remove it from your Home screen..

Go to Settings>Screentime> Content & Privacy (will need ur Passcode)>Content Restrictions>Apps>(Don't Allow Apps) check 9+... and ur all set...
Wechat is no longer on your Home Screen....To restore just go back thru the drill and check "Allow all Apps " and everything is back to normal...

Yes, your right Wayne....This is only if you "special" situations however, it's very easy to switch it on and off once you once you get comfortable with it....
GFs like to snoop sometimes when you least expect... If the App in not there ...No can do...lol..

LoL...you're right again...but I'm not talking about ATFs....I'm dealing with GFs... they can get a little weird and possessive at times... they don't mind you shopping around as long as it's not with someone they know... I think it's a "Face" thing..... They don't want you fooling around with their "friends" unless they suggest a Threesome... which is another can of worms...LoL..

I sign in and all my previous calls, texts etc all show up.

We should start a tech thread about Communications Techniques for the Avid Hobbyist.

I use Apple Messages but have multiple aliases set up. The good thing everything’s in one place with nothing suspicious looking app-wise. The bad part is having to open Settings >Messages and selecting which alias to begin new messages with, but that only has to done once for each new conversation. Once that chat is complete I delete it. Also make sure Messages is NOT backed up on your iCloud.

There are plenty of ways to text and call anonymously and not on an app you have to keep deleting.

Yes you have to keep deleting but only pros have my number and they are discrete and will only initiate during rendezvous and then also delete. Those conversations are short and professional. Apple is solid when it comes to privacy and has the best practices as to security. When you install 3rd party “free” apps you never know where your data goes.

I have always used the talkatone app and done the delete and install thing. I do worry about what my install history looks like though. I think a tech thread would be great to see what other options are out there.

I’ve found many if not most providers flatly reject anonymous calls/texts. All high end services do for sure.
