I don't understand why randonesss is still being allowed for blatant trolling and spamming in every thread with off-topic/wholly irrelevant pictures or commentary of how horny he is.

It's a very fine line between trolling and talking total BS. You've reported something like close to 20 reports the other day, and many of them were for trivial things. So he makes up stories (allegedly)...we should ban him for that?
Did he personally attack you? Is he quoting private details? Is he getting into pissing matches with other members? Is he making racist, misogynistic, homophobic or similar types of comments? Is he disparaging other member's reviews?
Sure, there have been questionable posts by him (which he has been warned about, and if he continues down that path despite the warnings, then we WILL take action), but I'm not really seeing justifiable grounds for suspending or banning him.
For the most part, I see him taking part in discussion threads in which HE CREATED, which, by the way, you are totally free to stay out of. Are his stories 100% believable? Each member can judge that for themselves, but even if it's totally BS and made up...whether he's dating 10 different spa girls or is a total loser and lives in his mother's basement, is he hurting anyone here? You obviously do not like the things he posts, but yet, why are you continuing to read his posts? Why not put on ignore or just move on? If a true troll, then what he wants is attention and reaction...why give it to him? There's so many reviews and threads and content that a member can read for days and days and still not get to cover it all on our site, so why focus on meaningless BS, and instead, focus your attention on the millions of other threads that are of interest to you?
The members here are not stupid...if someone (could be any member) is full of shit, they'll see it. Is he "trolling", and how do we define trolling? It's not always black and white, but if all a member does is make posts intended to upset other members on a consistent basis, that's someone we would classify as a troll. Are some of his posts questionable? For sure. Does that make him a troll? That's to be determined. Is he being monitored? Absolutely. But for the time being, we're not taking drastic action. Yet.
Look, we do not want to use the threat of a swift ban as a deterrent...the site works best when the mods take a step back and let the membership police themselves. And in rare cases when that doesn't happen, then we'll step in. We try to give each member chances to redeem themselves, and not let a mistake or two, or certain behaviors (that can be corrected), to result in an immediate ban. We really dislike having to ban members, and we feel that's the ultimate last resort...the nuclear option. Obviously something that we don't take lightly, and would rather not resort to...unless absolutely necessary.
If any member makes a clearly rule-breaking or controversial post, then report THAT. In other words, don't report stupid shit. Because that will make YOU look petty, with an axe to grind. If you want this member or any other member gone, make a strong case for it, instead of crying wolf.

Oh damn! I'm sorry to hear that. I work in the tech industry and I can understand. I think it's a sticky road to go down.
