Looks like the cop was already a target in investigation, and they tried to get something out of him. The 2 cops got paid $6,000 for driving around prostitutes. Why couldnt the girls and client just take an uber? According to the undercover cop its because they are high end… i dont know what a high end prostitute is, but $1,000-$2,000 per trip for just driving around?

THIS! There HAS to be a reason why they ran this sting. It makes no sense as a random thing. They could have targeted anyone. Why did they target these two guys?

The police has to run these operations to flush out the crooked cops - of which there are many. They can't be seen as not doing anything. It's the same reason they will occasionally bust an AMP.

Yea, but they don’t run entrapment stings on cops like this without some sort of reason/history/backstory.
