Guys thanks for the heads up but do you have links to these stories? Would very much like to pinpoint the details - and thanks in advance!

Sorry I do not. I only saw the article which I linked. It said the victim was discovered at 3:45AM so that's potentially outside of AMP hours (at least, the AMPS I go to, certainly could be an AMP running 24/7 near there and I am oblivious) - hope it means it's not a monger or worse yet one of the posters here. If I can find any other details I will post them.

The city is becoming more and more of a shithole, group of 13 year olds beat and killed a 73 year old at 3am the other weekend because they had nothing better to do.. the mayor is bragging about how he can’t wait to stop being mayor so he can enjoy shit.. mongering aside.. the city of philadelphia is fucking miserable, haven’t been home in a month but flying back on Tuesday and I’m dreading it.. if it wasn’t for my comfy salary job I’d leave.

They have stated it is the second floor of a residential apartment and the apartment owner was the one who shot the victim.

So this was NOT a spa location.

Our city’s crime rate started climbing in 2015. The problems now are on multiple administrations, DAs, and police Captains and Chiefs.
But sadly, our crime rate is nothing compared to a lot of southern cities. We don’t even make the top 50 most dangerous right now. #1 most dangerous city in the US right now is Shreveport, Louisiana.
So even if you move you might just be trading one shit show for another.

The irony in you saying that I was literally just in Shreveport Louisiana three days ago for my work traveling, but you can’t compare Shreveport Louisiana as the population is only 189,000 people.. we have 10 times as many people in Philadelphia than Shreveport Louisiana.. so that comparison was not a good one..

Exactly! Comparing "rates" to the actual lawlessness of this city isn't even comparable. Carjackings and overall shootings are at a record high. The carjackings is what is especially scary-it's ALL over the city. That is more likley going to affect you than 2 drug dealers killing each other.

Crime rate isn’t the same as number of crimes. It’s based on the amount of crimes compared to the population. But other cities the size of Shreveport didn’t have the same increase. But all that is still to say our entire country has seen dramatic rises over the past 7 years, big or small cities.

Oops. Sorry Horndog, read your reply wrong. End of workday confusion lol. But yeah, it’s just fucked everywhere. More crimes here, better chance of crimes there. All bad.
I also have family in Shreveport so it definitely got to me when I saw the new crime rate listings.

According to my sources. The shooter was displaced by the recent fire around the corner. The owner of the spa let him crash there and look after the girls since he was a former enforcer. The guy that got shot, had a gun and went into the spa looking for the guy over some beef.

There were five guys inside at the time watching the place , all were strapped.
