how do you think you get to be a billionaire? every penny counts.
C'mon - by the 'billionaire' logic exhibited above he should pay more for something? If a large latte and a muffin cost $7.19 at the corner deli for you or me, he should pay $7.19 - but by your logic he should pay $20.00. Why?

If you really think about it, over-tipping hurts the common monger. And, yes, $100 is over-tipping for just a 15-minute HE.

How is it overtipping the part of the money had to go to the house fee.
I just assumed the $100 was a tip. If it was $40 (after the HF), then that was an appropriate tip. I guess if we weren't there, we don't really know, Do we?

My larger points is that overtipping (by anyone) hurts the rest of us.

Oh boy here we go again.

I think we should refrain from telling others what they should tip.

If I guy walks into a place and over tips cause he liked the service or wanted to make sure he would continue to get the special treatment he just received he should be able to without the “common monger” crying about it. Plus if he has the means then more power too him. But this you need to pay this cause I can only afford to pay this is ridiculous.

You never walked into a bar and tipped the bartender a 20, even if you ordered 2 sodas cause you wanted the bartender to go to you first when you wanted drinks?

Despite the best efforts of some, it's a free country, so yeah people can tip whatever they want. But if Daddy Warbucks walks in and tips a girl $500 for something everyone else tips $100 for, that's going to cause the going rate to climb. Personally, I'd rather not see that happen.

And let's not pretend an AMP girl is similar to a bartender. Last time I checked, the level of service is much different. A bartender is not going to refuse to make a drink 'cause he doesn't dig the tip.

If I interpret this right, the $100 was the tip only. He paid the house fee at the desk when he entered. Seems like he was there less than 15 min. He was not even interested in a massage; he just wanted to do his biz and leave. $100 is a very generous tip for the type and length of that service. You can argue that, as a billionaire, he could have given more. But to me it seems fine.

But that bartender can make you wait forever for one until the point you get frustrated and walk away.

Plus the few times a guy comes in and overtips so much are far and few between for the woman to now think I can charge this new amount.

Now if you are saying a guy giving 100 and then a guy gives 140. Is this what you are saying?
