In Asians I like porcelain skin, as if untouched by the sun. But next to Caucasian skin it still has a warmer cast, a yellower hue as opposed to the pinker tone of many whites.

In NYC it's the Chinese at the top. Their numbers overwhelm all others. While we see JAV ladies all the time here they might not make anymore than any one else 300-400 hourly rate but make up for it via special extras tips. However you'll see in like Flushing for example 500-600hr Chinese girls that don't offer anything spectacular in the hour, they are just young and hot, sometimes not even, but they are charging more per hr than the JAV alternative and yet providing less service.

Certainly there’s a spotlight on JAV girls....

Yeah, in numbers the Chinese are the majority. And you may be right that in fact the mean price point is the same, I can’t say for sure. Gold-standard VIPspot Momo was Korean.
But my subjective sense is that the better shops seem to have a steady stream of young (20s) visiting Japanese girls that start at 3.4 and quickly go up to 4, before extras. Whether they’re actually Japanese is almost irrelevant, the ‘Lexus’ brand is the point, not Fujian Motors, not Hyundai! In other words, it’s marketing, with ‘Japanese’ standing in for quality... but no doubt this is but one particular side hustle of the busy, busy amps.
