I've been seeing more and more reviews that are just not going into much private detail. I found myself having to send PMs to reviewers and asking them the specifics about their encounters. When I write reviews, I put thought and effort into it. I want my reviews to come to life. I want others to know the experiences that I have had, and what to expect when they meet the provider. I'm not asking people to write a short story like I do, but at least write more than 6 sentences. How was her demeanor? What happened on the flip? Acronyms please? How was the vibe of the spa? What are the pros and cons? What is your recommendation based off of? I know personally I like taking the time to think before I make an informed decision and pull the trigger on visiting a spa. Can we just be more mindful of others on here? I don't think this is too much to ask.

I respect what you’re saying. And I don’t disagree. But recently I’ve had several providers ask me to either not review, or if I do to leave out all major details. I’m respectful towards their requests so in light of that, maybe it is a reason you’re seeing shorter reviews? Not sure. Just providing some insight on what could be happening.
Specialists or specific off menu activities should be PM.
We are all, or we should be, familiar with accepted activities in a given spa. For instance triple D, we al know, Saigon we all know. It’s the description of the girl, her enthusiasm, how busy and rushed the experience is, other providers you saw in passing, these small details are more important than what the two of you did. We all know what you did. But the little things that complete the experience and made it memorable are often left out. If she did something special that she only does for you. Good, keep it between the two of you. The rest of us will find out soon enough as she ups her game to keep us returning. Monger on gentlemen.

While I'm not disagreeing with the sentiment, all those things that you've listed can be conveyed without a private details session. So I trying to get a feel if this is the direction the forum is headed? Where all explicit content relegated to PMs? If so, we should have the mods make a notice so everyone is on the same page.
The site owner has made it clear what is allowed. Some mongers think typing abbreviations, acronyms and cutesie phrases fool the LE. Most of the participants on this board are male and males prefer to be in control of their life situations. Knowing exactly what we want, when we want and how we want is a common trait. Everything is fine, no need to panic, we'er all gonna have fun eventually! Life's not so bad!
Not just west coast, just head to the NYC section and it’s like reading a sex novel. I won’t lie, occasionally it’s a good read, other times it’s just dudes who are full of themselves because the person they just paid to service them did just that. I also know some reviews are purposely inflated to help draw attention and visits. People are going to do what they want, unfortunately this suggestion won’t mean much, imo
The sex novels are all pretty much the same. For independent's and GFE providers the service is pretty much standard. We all know what the menu is at these places, you either get the full menu and specials or you don't. It takes only a couple lines to convey this and a couple more if things were left out. The rest is the reviewer's ego boost.
All good points so far. YMMV is written a lot because it's true and will always be because we are dealing with women. Yes, they are working ladies but on any given day the same provider will give two customers very different level of service. I can write about a great GFE that happened and somebody showing up hours later has a meh session. Then they complain that I'm shilling for the provider or spa. My reviews usually touch on the spa (esp a 1st time visit) and my session. It's tame compared to others and I'm not going to put in all the acronyms for what happened. Still the point gets across. How many times does a provider get hot reviews and then new guys can't get a session because she's so busy. Or worse she starts to charge more .
Do not tell people how to write their reviews. There is enough detail and you can get off your ass and go find out for yourself and review it the way YOU like to review it. Some are over the top, some are down the middle, and some choose discretion. It is very easy to read in between the lines. This topic is closed. If any of you don't like it, don't read any future reviews from someone you don't think fits your standards. No one forced you to come here, you are free to not visit the site at all.
