These Chinese Migrants are just looking for a better life, and they are not looking for a hand out. They also don't cross the border into the USA illegally. They intentionally wait to be detained by boarder control, and properly processed and then request asylum.

The story Happy Jack conveyed was actually from his own first hand source (ie- direct conversation with a migrant who showed him documentation of her experience) not CNN so your knee jerk, hyper-partisan response says more about your naïveté than his.

Yes we are a country of immigrants - but mostly of the legal type! I think open borders is not a sustainable idea for a country as wealthy as ours with the kind of social safety nets we afford.

Having said that I will cheerfully confess (hypocritacally) that I am delighted with the abundance of young amp talent that is flooding in as a result of our lax border controls!

we aren't talking historically, we are talking the almost 10 million that have over run our border in the last 3 years - it's unprecedented, it's dangerous especially with cartels and human trafficking, Fentanyl is pouring through as well killing our children, and it's costing hundred and hundreds of billions. We are a country of immigrants, we welcome immigrants, but this is pure insanity and simply can't be sustained.
