I’m uhhhh, pushing 50 guys. Lost my job last year. Lost my wife same time too.
Basically within the course of 2 months I lost everything in life and fell into a deep depression and suicidal thoughts.
In that time period I found mongering and when I’m doing it, it’s the only times i feel like a human being again.

Sorry for dumping all that here.
No need to be sorry and I am sorry to hear what you are going through. Hope you are able to get the help that you need. Good luck.

To be honest with you. I don’t believe your annual gross income matters. Especially, if you live in a high rent or in a high cost of living region in the Northeast or the West coast. 250k will disappear quickly if you pay an expensive mortgage, fancy car, and high taxed. An old fart with no mortgage, and a decent life savings will have money to hobby. One who makes 100k, and living in a low cost area will probably have more money in his pocket to hobby.
having a luxury place to live, high end sports car, covering living expense, and mongering leaves you thousands every month. 250k a year is like 12.6k+ after tax a month with your monthly expenses being less than that u can save fat

No apology necessary. Hang in there. Enjoy the mongering if it's giving you what you want and it makes you feel good. If it's not bringing you a net-positive outcome, you have the sincere links from dynaguy, above. Priority #1 is finding your happiness, comfort zone and direction. Remind yourself that change is difficult, and if it feels difficult, that's not failure, that's normal. Best wishes.

I bought my first house in a bad neighborhood at 20yrs old 4 bedroom 2 bath and rented out three rooms . Payed it off in 5yrs bought another house and rented the rooms out of it and my other house .
I kept reinvesting my money into rental properties ,I now have 56 rentals and all are paid for . Now I am getting ready to start a tiny home community on 30 acres I own .
They will buy the home and pay lot rent , I was once in your shoes so don’t give up , I just sold a union contracting company ,So don’t start this hobby until you have disposable income .

That's absolutely the way to do it.
You must have had a very good and involved father or mentor to instill in you the confidence to do that.
Good on you.

I am merely lucky to have been a decent worker with a sought after skill to be able to retire a little early.
But it's better to be a boss.
Good on you.

My Father didn’t want me to struggle like he and my mom , So they gave me the opportunity to save money and invest , my Father passed away before he could see how successful I was , My Mother lived with me until the day she died .

That's a good father you had.

Mine was a successful business man, property owner, landlord, navy boxer...
And never taught me anything. Not a goddamn thing.
I scrambled around, took my lumps (a WHOLE LOTTA LUMPS) and did what I had to do.
It's a wonder I was able to learn and accumulate anything.
God Bless America.

Dang Slim , looks like you are doing your own thing after all you been through , good for you Slim .
I owe everything to my Father , He taught me how to hunt , fish , work on cars ( body work and engine repair ) and how to defend myself . After my father passed away I bought my Mother anything she wanted and told her she’s not working anymore .

To enjoy this hobby on a regular basis isn't cheap. If you go once a week at $200 a visit, that's $10,400 per year....
$200 a visit? $300 (incl house fee) at an AMP is normal in vegas. I'll do an AMP once in a while if a known and fav is working, but mostly KA girls starting at 320 or 420 for bbfs.

It's not about how much you make, it's how much you keep. I have very little debt, house, cars and RV paid for, very little cc.

I'm 60+ so 85k is plenty for once every 2 or 3 weeks. If I was younger and single, it would probably be more.

Perhaps we should start an investment thread in this forum , I’d like to hear what your thoughts are.. I’m trying to diversify …and not just Between amp, lmp,rmp
4.5% savings accounts are available at most banks these days. That's where the cash portion of my portfolio is stashed. "Making money while you sleep". The rest is split about 60/40 between fixed income funds and US and overseas equity funds, with a handful of direct stock holdings (e.g., Amazon, Tesla).

Hello All,

I was wondering how much you all make per year to be able to frequent this hobby.

I’ll start first: 250k
That is slot for a cop, but they do get unlimited Overtime. Thank you for you service officer.
I’ll give you one thing, you sure are consistent. I don’t know why anyone still interacts with you.

I’ve met several members from this site who are in their 20s and make a high six-figure income. I’m very happy for them. None of them are dating and prefer SBs and amps. I recommended them to date women (have a girlfriend) while they are in their 20s and go to an amp if they strike out.
Great advice. I used to give the same advice to my friends when I was in my 20's .. the options being then one-jackson car dates as well.

That being said, I've had young 'uns at work relate stories of meeting what they thought was a civvy gal, only to be told they would need to some Benjamin's if they wanted to smash
