The problem with articles like this is that they are written to scare people and influence behavior. As others have said, are we talking about HPV, which most sexually active people have, or more serious STDs. What are the demographic breakouts? What is the STD rate of Asian women age 35-50? It is just hard to really glean anything from these articles because they aren't written to give you detailed relevant information, they are written to elicit an emotional response.

According to the stats, 10,000 out of 100,000 in Philly have gonorrhea. That’s scary.
That’s not what it’s saying… the total number of cases is broken out by type… the cases per 100k was 1504. Philly is over 1.6 mil meaning the gonorrehea cases are about .7 for every 100 people (which is still a big number of cases)

That has to be pure bullshit.

I guess I can ask here. Without waiting at a Public Health facility all day, is there an anonymous (completely, using cash only) way to get tested. Feel free to PM.
For all those so concerned about this a link should be put here as stated above. Many folks don't get tested because of the possibility of getting found out. An anonymous way should be posted if someone knows of one in or around Philly.

Impossible that 30% of the male population in Philly has some kind of STD.
Kensington. Norf. Souff. Animals. Is probably more like 99% in those places.

Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those stats have to do with Kensington.
My ten bucks is on that too. Kenzos don't brush their teeth or use new needles I can't imagine they'd be using rubbers when trading their asshole for a half a bundle.

But the high cost of entry does affect access and I believe that restriction helps keep mongering safer.
Is probably pretend safety in our minds, but I feel much safer in a suburban AMP with an old Chinese lady with cost barrier more than a typical Ballastexistenzen's daily pay.

Also, I admit I did no read the article, I'm too stoned now to focus like that on a scholarly article. But, Herps is an STD, and apparently 2 of 3 human beings GLOBALLY (this includes children in the counts of both numerator and denominator!) have HSV1 (cold sores type), and 13% or about 2 in 15 have HSV2 (the one in your balls and butthole and dick and pussy). Watched a PBS Eons thing this afternoon on plane about how "we" got the herps, it was fascinating! Anyway just those numbers alone get you a good way to the finish line on those total stats. With the stats above, if you were watching the Eagles last home game vs the Cowboys, with around 70 total human beings inside, you were watching it with around 46k people with HSV1, and 9300 people with HSV2. Best of luck.

Yes, go to walmart and buy a Bluebird debit card with cash. This is completely online and no mail goes to the house.
Go online and pick one of 100 online STD sites. I use JasonHealth.
Go to the lab and give the urine/blood samples. Yes, the people know why you are there but they do not know your name and you do not know them.
Testing will be posted within four days.

Bacterial STD's are cureable. Viral STD's are forever.

I use healthlabs.com for routine test, it can be anonymous, no need to bring id and stuff to local lapcorp testing. Result within couple days. I charge it to my hsa debit card so it is not directly out if my pocket neither.
