Its not like this hobby is becoming any less popular, or any more discreet. Its common knowledge among hobbyists, providers, and the powers that be that these review forums exist, so why is it that 90% of establishments and agencies do not provide photos of the providers? And when they do provide photos, 9 times out of 10 they are fakes anyway. To me, a picture is worth a thousand words. Beauty is in the eye if the beholder, and none of us behold things the same. Its senseless for the practice of sharing providers photos to be taboo, unless they are trying to hide something from us.

They're just appealing to the uninformed, inexperienced, or the lizard brains in all of us. I've seen hundreds of hos and I have to make a conscious effort not to go see a girl with a great looking photo, even if it's heavily photoshopped or even fake.

They're not targeting the most discerning or most disciplined...they're just optimizing for the greatest number of mongers to come through for whatever time horizon they're targeting.
