You can't go wrong with ribeye. When you buy porterhouse, you should pick the ones with a large tender side. That's the good tenderloin side. You need to let a steak warm up to room temperature before cooking it, or it will be too rare inside and overdone outside.
Petite Sirloin.
FTW!
Seriously, it's way less expensive, tender, cooks up fast, and has that great beef taste.
TBH, any steak when cooked right is fantastic, but petite sirloin gives maximum bang for the buck.
Had a Tomahawk Steak last night, ribeye on the bone, fantastic. Ribeye is the most flavorful - since it is the fat in the steak that give it the great flavor.
Go on to Amazon and buy a Sous Vide. You put the steak in a sealed bag, cook in temperature controlled water for an hour, then flash fry on grill or cast iron pan. Excellent every time.

Picked up a couple of bone-in ribeyes at Shop Rite of all places. They grilled up great on the old Weber gas grill. Usually buy NY strip steaks at Costco.
Prime rib at medium is my favorite. Could be on a date with Jennifer Aniston and if she said not to order it, the date would be over.
At home. Thin cut ribeye with the right amount of fat, filet, or flat iron.
I used to like NY Strip, but for me, give me a long length skirt steak (usually over a pound), loaded with garlic powder on the grill, add sauteed onions on it, and I'm set!
