Hey all,
Hope this is okay to chat about here. I feel like there's a ton of disinformation online. Lots of speculative things about what you can catch with protection, what you can catch kissing, and even what you can catch from a run of the mill happy ending. A bunch of sites that pop up are also from religion-backed organizations. Some afflictions mainly affecting gay men, some that affect mainly women, some that affect majority black men. It's just super confusing what you find on the web. I imagine even talking directly to a doctor, they'll say "anything's possible, nothing's 100%". Well shit, thanks for nothing doc. For context, I got a screening done a few days ago and things came back squeaky clean, and that was my first screening in a long, long while after a few years of wrapped-up mongering. I don't mean to start any discussion to spark any fears. For me, I'd just like to hear some real-life takes on people's experience with their health after dipping into this hobby for so long. It would be interesting to know what things are like in "real life" with cis, hetero, men and what is more often than not, asian, women providers. Feel free to delete if not allowed. Thanks everybody.
