For low end spots like this place, they don't take reservations. You can and should tell them you are coming. However they don't "reserve" your appointment. Its 1st come 1st serve.

Thanks for the review. I would suggest to always speak in Cantonese or Mandarin. Even if you couldn’t really have a full command on either. It’s good way to ease them up and you will get different treatment. If they ask where you from, just say Guangdong or Fujian.
