windows were just blocked with paper, pretty run down looking. A makeshift sign in Chinese was taped on the window. Looks like it's been there since Clinton was President.

Honestly I wouldn't go to any spot in Borough Park. Hasidic jews frequent those joints and their community is very much anti-science and refuses to follow COVID guidelines. Not sure if you've heard on the news how they held large weddings and funerals during the first wave, and NYPD was basically neutered and couldn't disperse them the same way they did against other protesters in the city.

One of their community leaders, Heshy Tischler, organized a late night anti-mask mass protest not long ago with most if not all participants mask free and huddled up in a big crowd. He also encouraged participants to assault journalists and photographers covering the protest, which actually happened. They are also anti-vaccination. Before COVID there was a measles outbreak in their neighborhood because they refused to vaccinate their children, causing the city to shut down multiple jewish schools.

Not being discriminatory, just facts from recent history.

That's true, but in my head the ones where they frequent less = lower risk and more time for potentially infected particles to air out.

Nah I think they definitely like going to spas more. I don't see them at latina or chinese houses.

I've seen them enter fasthouses on sunset, sometimes right behind me like no one's business. Cant avoid it. Regardless, if you wanna steer clear of covid, probably should steer clear of all places like this anyway.
