Side note - Now, I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain that "Ayumi" is not Japanese and is Chinese, but is being advertised as Japanese.
Guys tend to get mad at me when I say this so I've stopped pointing it out, but I guess I'm a glutton for punishment today.
It is most likely that none of you have ever had a real Japanese girl in this hobby in NY. The closest you can come is a nisei Korean (meaning ethnically Korean born in Japan). These days, that's even rare and all the girls who try to pass for Japanese are just faking it.
Unlike most other Asian nations, Japan is a first class economy and it has a huge market for the hobby. There is simply no reason for their girls to come here. They are doing fine over there. And I don't know why exactly, but when they age out, they don't tend to come here to extend their careers like all the girls from Korea and China do.
I lived in Japan for many years. Whenever a girl tells me she's Japanese I quiz her and she inevitably fails. I remember one who was doing a pretty good job impersonating an anime, though I wasn't fooled. I went along until the mama banged on the door and said something to her in Korean. LOL. I pointed out there there were very few Japanese who can speak Korean (as they look down on Korea like you couldn't imagine.) She admitted the jig was up and to please not tell anyone.
I know some of you guys will not believe me, but that one that was a special exception, probably wasn't. I won't argue with you though.
