First timer there; went there with mix feelings but mainly due to curiosity after reading so many things about this place and finding myself in the area, one evening this week.
I buzzed from the streets and then went up the stairs. When I arrived there is a girl waiting in front of glass massage office door (left one, right one of for barber part). I go in and she walks me to a room. She then asked: 1hr? I said how much for an hour and she said 60. I asked how much for half and hour and she said 40. I hesitated but then said half hour and opened wallet to grab 2 twenties by showing a lot of other bills (I never plan to overpay or pay all in wallet at those places but like to bring many bills, even small ones, to make wallet look thick and make them believe if they treat me well they will be compensated well).

You raise a good point and extra points to you for not contributing to the re-review madness. One bit of information that would help: you really don't need to have written reviews to see the "private details" -- all you need to do is click on the "post reply" button on the review post. You can read the whole thing even if you never posted a review.
As to finding more places like this one: good luck. This place is an institution. I have never been here but I've seen reviews of it for probably 10 years now. I don't think there is any place else like it in NY.

Never been there for a haircut but just made a visit there recently to see the "new" talent. As noted before, not young so definitely not a girl and in all respects, nothing really to look at. Small boobs, no backside and can't massage a lick. Maybe some rubbing pushing but that's it. Paid for an hour but she started the ST about 10 minutes into the massage.
