A bit of exaggeration there. It's been closed for about a month and a half due to renovations but more likely due to management turmoil. Some ambiguity as to when it will reopen. DDD action has apparently moved to Sue's new place in Philly. Anyone with better and newer info is encouraged to pipe in.

I would guess that they are waiting for popularity to die down. The neighbors were probably talking a lot to township officials. Perhaps they got a tip or nicely asked to cool it down this place was almost as popular as the wawa down the street.

Thanks for the info. I think I saw a review that said Judy also was there a couple of weeks ago.

Is there any way we can start a petition to retire the name "Coco?" There are way too many of them.

I find it odd that there would be complaints from neighbors since that place was pretty isolated. You don’t see it from the main drag unless you’re really looking for it and the nearest “neighbor” is a shop that’s a good distance away.

They had that chimney guy right there next to the driveway. Sometimes a lady would be sitting on the back porch of the house and could watch us coming and going, but I can't see why they would all of a sudden have a problem after 5-6 years, unless something happened that we're not aware of. Also, the local LE would use the vacant Sony plant across the street for training, but they had been doing that for a while. In the meantime, the two week "renovation" has stretched out to six weeks and counting. Work took me by there a couple of weeks ago and it was quiet, so I'm thinking a return is not looking good. Anyway, someone knows what happened and isn't saying, which is fine. We aren't owed any explanations. Still, it would be good to know where some of our favorites are working now.

I remember that at least a couple times when leaving DDD there was a police car parked on the side of the road in front of the chimney place.
