They usually have a few massage therapists working, so unless they are really busy, call ahead is only necessary if you want a particular provider.

Last time I was here (I dunno, maybe 1 month or 2) I made an appt but when I got there she said "oh we take walk in you gotta wait".

I waited like 15-20 min or so.

I'm not saying you shouldn't make one, but my experience is it may not matter here, so if you have a very tight window, you may want to go somewhere else.

Yea it's a good idea if you can, everyone's schedules are different, sometimes I try to fit shit in with too tight of a window and that is bad. Of course having to wait a long time is bad also. I like DS+ and had some good times over the years, I just thought it was worth nothing that walk ins trump appointments here - maybe not if you are a TRUE regular (which I'm not) but for the average once in awhile appointment monger, you can easily be bumped.

Always good to know before you go so you can plan accordingly.

I always go out with at least two places in mind. I have been turned away a couple of times because they were busy.
