tbh I always thought an Asian woman ran the society hill place. Years ago there was a place nearby in Passyunk. The ads for Passyunk and South Street were the basically the same and some of the girls worked at both. Society hill crew was on south street at the time. The Passyunk place was run by an Asian lady but on the younger side. Not a typical mamasan type.
