so i’m a little unorthodox. New York is a mongers paradise i know this! BUT i like certain things and certain prices. i like the hype around this lady so made it a mission to go see her well worth the trip though.
As i mentioned i live in Manhattan so i got the NJT 190 bus right at 42nd street port authority. was only a 10 min walk from my building, the bus ride was about 25-30 mins (and it was free)
the bus literally drops you off right in front of the spa, literally. So in total i spent 10 mins walking from my building to the port authority to catch the 190 bus.
after my session i didn’t feel like waiting for the 190 so i pre ordered an uber so as soon as my session was over walked outside and my ride was waiting for me. Took me to newark penn station and i got an Amtrak from Newark Penn to NYC (again, also free) and about a 10-15 min walk from Moynihan train hall to my building.
so total time spent traveling was about an hour and only cost me $22 for the uber. that’s all i paid to get from manhattan to Passaic and back to manhattan
takes me just as long if not longer to get to some spas in flushing so i really saw no difference. I’m a city dweller i don’t mind taking public transit haven’t driven my car in almost a year my freaking inspection and emissions is probably expired i never drive the cars been parked in the parking garage for almost a year now lol
