Fully agree. Price gouging has started and it is not going to last long as many offices are going to start terminating people with stupid policy and high cost in place like NYC. This city is going to be dead soon.[/QUOTE
Im old enough to remember the 70’s - everyone leaving the city - it survived and got better - the stock crash of the eighties survived and got better. 9/11 it really hurt but we prevailed - 2008 cut deep but again we prevailed - pandemic - un chartered waters - it will be back this could take a while
These girls are spooked and with good reason - personally I think they deserve a little more and we may need to do more like wear a mask . Restaurants many will close could take years 3-5 before it looks like 2019. May never be 2019 again . Broadway will be different but it will be here - the Knicks will be here and losing at MSG, bars will be different - picking up women might be interesting as well - walking down the street with blue gloves and a mask , hand in hand you’ll still be in love .
It is a different world guys and we need to deal . If you think it’s too much money vs reduced services - by all means stay home - for those who give up on NYC then you were never really in love with it - for me it is my home - always will be - it’s a romance and sometimes you have to deal with things - till it’s back on track - “got them Covid blues “ check out this tune about the pandemic very cool tune
