It's all academic now that this place is closed, possibly for good. There's an advantage to certain locations, and many have survived for years and years, in plain sight. IMO the folks who set up these spas are calculating and not the type to throw money away on renovations and security systems without extensively vetting the locations. Time will tell I suppose.
