I’m sorry if I came off like an ass but come on guys. At some point you have to suck it up and make the call and book. And, for me, that took months because a community like this didn’t exist then. And I was terrified the first time I was led across the street, then told to come to the other side of the street and given a building number and told “come to the 3rd floor” only to have a dark door open on the 2nd floor with a hand beckoning me in with the rest of said person hiding behind the door. And everything runs through your head from “maybe there’s a 7 foot Russian monster in there that just wants to crack my skull and take my money” to “I’m really looking forward to meeting this girl.” But I realized they’re scared too of any new encounter. And safety is everyone’s primary concern. So, instead of continuing to be an ass and stomping on people I would suggest that you newer guys read what some of the more senior guys post and reach out to them with questions. They have been incredibly helpful and gracious to me.
