I refer you to this of this March 25, 2019 post from the site administrator topjimmy. If you have a problem with that, then I suggest you take it up with him.

“Anyway, the reviewer is the only one that’s exempt from this. If he chooses to reveal something publicly that he wrote in the private details, that’s his choice and he may do so. And, once it’s revealed publicly by the reviewer, it’s no longer bound by the guidelines that protect the private content.”
Thanks. So for clarification, according to your take on the rules, I could in theory write very graphic detail about a provider where any non member can see it and thats ok? Moreover, anyone who read that and IS a member can quote or discuss those graphic details in threads and thats ok too. The information that members pay for or contribute to to have access is in theory, free at that point for anyone browsing google.
Im not arguing with YOU. Its not about that. Im simply asking because thats what you described and unless ive grossly misunderstood, (it happens) Id say this is a pretty big hole dont you agree?
If you wanted to make some guys nervous about going to that shop, this is a great way to do it. Enough graphic “testimony” to make a place hot.
Its Not my web site so hey whatever. Id like to feel our reviews are safe.

It is not my take on the rules. I shared a relevant post from the site’s administrator, that’s all. As I stated above, you should direct your questions and concerns to him or one of the mods.

No you can not repost, discuss, ask questions, quote or talk about information posted in the Private Details. The OP can talk about his own review in follow up comments.
At that point it is up to the members to be discreet and not ask stupid questions in the Public Forum area.

Lol I agree and i didnt think so. But im being told that IS the case and you can. He says its not his take on the rules. (See his quote below) I am not picking on him I simply dont get why this original post is allowed and yet we are told to not even include details where they can be seen in the first few lines of our reviews. Makes no sense imo.
Maybe a mod can weigh in? I thought oldhorndog was a mod since he came in all official to “direct me”.

@Jasong - The OP chose to include Private Details in the title of his review. As the review Title line is publicly viewable by anyone, how would it be a violation of board rules if someone posted a comment inquiring about those particular details? For example, in this review’s title, the OP revealed that Jenny took him for a ride in 3 positions. A follow-up comment/question about the 3 positions wouldn’t violate the rule about not revealing Private Details. Those details ceased being Private when the OP elected to include them in the very public title of his review.

As the mods see every review after it’s submitted, and they don’t seem to have a problem with how the OP chose to title his. They have the ability to edit reviews and comments, but they haven’t done that here. No harm, no foul?

Really really getting tired of these threads. I know I know... don't read them blah blah. The amount of wasted space on the boards for an exceedingly mediocre spa is simply a waste imo. To each his own, but I'm out on anything having to do with posts on this place.

I can give my opinion on how illogical it is and honestly you arent even making some case or giving an opinion for whether the current setup in this case and representative of a hole in the integrity of the members only review section- which was my whole point. I dont appreciate your chastisement. - you simply came in acting like youre the mod and choosing to argue for no apparent reason and with no opinion. Opinions welcome but youre arguing just to argue it seems. With all due reapect, lay off

Let's settle down, guys.

@Jasong is correct when he initially stated that the review title was too graphic...that's our mistake in not editing it before we approved it. And it has been fixed.

And while not explicitly stated in the rules, the review title should only have the name of the establishment and the name of the provider. Period. We've been allowing creative titles at times, but we generally do not allow graphic or detailed titles.

@oldhorndog53 is also correct that only the OP has immunity from revealing anything that he wrote in the private details. But like I stated, the title should not have said what it said.

As for the OP, we as a site, let our members be the judge of a review or reviewer's credibility, because it is way too difficult to "prove" things. Every member needs to do their own homework...we are not here to spoonfeed anyone, nor police anyone.

That said, GENERALLY speaking, if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck...
