Based on my visit with her at DDD a couple of years ago, I thought the hoopla around her was overstated. YMMV is the golden rule. There’s plenty of talent around to supplement.

It's all chemistry, expectations and attitude. Going in with low expectations and a positive outlook than if you go in with high expectations and a sour attitude. Chemistry is usually better if you're considerate and handy with compliments. Sometimes not.

I'm one of the few that aren't in Maya's fan club. Just never clicked. Saw her twice at DDD with less than satisfactory results. Caught up with her at Osaka when she ran it under a different name several months ago or longer. She said she remembered me from DDD and that DDD level service would cost 50% more here. I walked. I only tried her for a third time because of all the glowing reviews in this forum. Her charm is lost on me. YMMV i suppose.
