As someone who grew up in media I can assure you that anything right there on the main drag would never be anything but legitimate. Of course there’s sort of one exception. Do you member that place that was down the stairs behind State Street on Baker Street? Next-door to the tattoo place? I loved that place :) so sad to see it go. What was that girls name? Michele? Amy? She was awesome

I agree with you to a certain extent. Except- it is always the places you least expect to find hidden treasure, that treasure is found. Kind of like the concept of doing a drug deal in a tucked away culdesac will get you caught, whereas a shopping center in the open will not. Where it’s more obvious, there is more opportunity. That said I was not naive, my thought process echoed yours and I was not expecting much (except perhaps a surprise).

I thought it was Cindy. I may be wrong.

Yes that was her name. Cindy. She was always nice to me. Very low-key. Enough English to have a conversation. Very basic but nice slow approach. Never rushed me

I used to review this spa in the review back in the SH days. There is one private spot in the back for private massage, and one other spot behind a door. I think the behind the door spot is only used if the other one is taken. There are 2 beds behind the door. The girl who used to massage me there was always flirtateous and would put her boobs on my head a few times during the massage. She wasnt really allowed to do more because the owner was usually there. I remember having to coach her and guide her a little. Whenever I asked her to do my legs, she would brush against the boys. I always felt like she would do more eventually but finally gave up hope. Not sure if she still works there now, I have not been back in years. I will go back here to try again over the next couple months. If anyone gets the private massage in the meantime and can report back here, I would appreciate it.

If you are talking about the small place on Baker Street next to the tattoo parlor it closed several years ago. I was under the impression that they just relocated a few blocks away on 2nd $ Monroe and is now called oriental nature care. But when I have walked in there a couple of times it seems to be a man and an older woman and a very legitimate looking place. Which would make sense because it is one block away from the police station.

When I visited in the past to the ardmore place you have to be buzzed in the front entrance. I think it may be 10 for the code, correct me if I am wrong. Once buzzed, it is up a flight of stairs and place is on the right side, I think the first door. Usually very nice and clean place. They used to advertise more. At one point, there were 4 places within 3 blocks there. Now there are still 3 spots.

I don’t think the place above El Limon exists anymore. Tried calling it at one point months ago and no success. Anyone else have info?

It does. I was just there today. I just walked in to check the place out and she was busy so I could not have stayed if I wanted to but I will return :)

You guys are talking in circles about this. Media or Ardmore. There is only one massage place in Media and it's on main street where Cindy works. The place by the tattoo is and has been gone. many years.
