Nothing ticks me off more than bait-and-switch when you preschedule an appointment with a specific provider, except possibly the provider who just doesn’t show up at all. It shows a lack of common courtesy and hypocrisy too (if we schedule and don’t show up, we often get banned by the spa and/or provider).
